Please contact us if you know of a hotline number that is not listed here – it may save a woman’s life.

Hotline volunteers have been trained and provide accurate information from reliable sources in confidence, especially the World Health Organization.  They are aware of national laws and policies, and the situation for services. They can advise women on how to use medical abortion pills safely, and how to seek help if it is needed.

AidAccess

AidAccess supports women in the US who cannot otherwise access an abortion, with different service options, depending on where you live: 

In the following US states – Alaska, California, Colorado, Connecticut, DC, Idaho, Illinois, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, New York, New Jersey, New Mexico, Nevada, Oregon, Rhode Island, Vermont, Virginia and Washington, their US doctors can provide the pills, which you will receive by mail within a few days. Cost US$ 150.

For other US states, their European doctors can provide a prescription for abortion pills. You will be informed about a trustworthy pharmacy in India who will ship the medicines to you by mail. The delivery of the package takes 1–3 weeks after shipment. Cost US$ 110.

If you cannot afford these costs, AidAccess will try to find a solution.

The helpdesk and doctor will be available to answer any question before, during and after the abortion process.

Attorneys and advocates who provide legal information and advice and support those navigating complex laws in order to self-determine their reproductive lives. 

If they cannot help, they will try to connect you with a lawyer from their network in your state.

Beware US Pregnancy Crisis Centers

Google and other search engines may misdirect as many as one in 10 searches for abortion to anti-abortion “pregnancy crisis centers” in the US, according to a new study in US states where abortion is already or may soon be illegal.
